FAITH ALONE ~ 2009, Short Film (15:37)
'Faith Alone' is my first attempt at writing/directing/producing a short film and was my gradutation piece for a part--time filmmaking course at the Met Film School in London, UK. Shot on a Z1 with Movietube and prime lenses, it was completed in March 2009 and screened at the Takes Film Festival and Candid Projection Room. See here for full list of credits.
Synopsis: A successful woman in her late 30's is secretly obsessed with dating portals to try to succeed in the one area of her life that has eluded her - to meet her equal. Bombarded with images throughout one day that remind her of what she doesn't have, Faith is propelled into secret acts, desperate thoughts and hard truths.
Synopsis: Susannah is living a typically quiet and dusty life in the suburbs with her husband when an unexpected visit from her son surfaces a dark secret that has been brewing since he left the nest 15 years ago.
