Stephanie Zari's Bio
Stephanie Zariwas born in California, USA, and has since resided in both Canada and the UK. Her experience in the film industry spans over 15 years, where she started off in Toronto as an actress that soon saw her in key roles across various independent films such as Stolen Heart and Ron Manns Genie award winning Grass. After 9 years of acting Stephanie took a turn at writing. She co-wrote the TV episodic Hank Mackenzie, which was optioned and was represented by the Saint Agency in Toronto. More recently, Stephanie has turned her hand to writing and directing for the screen and has completed her first short film 'Marigolds' featuring a cast of TV and West End regulars and Co-Produced the WWII extended short film Deserter, featuring Steven Hartley. Stephanie has also worked with the likes of Patrick Kennedy, Toyah Wilcox, Tony Hawkes, Paul Freeman, Dakota Blue Richards, Brumilda van Resnberg and many more. Stephanie is currently in preproduction on her second short film 'Hello George' which was shortlisted for the UK Digishorts 2010 scheme and recently shortlisted for the 2010 Golden Brand Screenplay Awards 2010 andSuper Shorts Screenplay Award. Stephanie now resides in the UK and is in development on both feature film and TV Series.
